We want to improve and extend our Freephone Advice Helpline service to lone parents in Northern Ireland. Through the Advice Outreach Volunteer Programme we can offer you the opportunity to take our innovative training for lone
parents to become:
We know the best way to help lone parents is:
- to enable other lone parents to become directly involved; and
- to train lone parents to give advice to other lone parents
You can even work from the comfort of your own home!
  
A full package of training will be provided to help you fulfil your
potential in this demanding but highly rewarding role.
Welfare Rights Adviser Programme at NVQ Level 3;
- A good standard of education, basic IT skills and eagerness to learn;
- Be able to commit to the advice volunteer programme for 2 years;
- A willingness to give your time in advice to other lone parents on a confidential and non-judgemental basis.

- All training is Free of Charge
- Travel and Childcare costs incurred by lone parents will also be covered.
